POSTPONEMENT OF THE 43rd NATIONAL THIRUMURAI RECITAL VIZHA

With reference to the above matter and decision taken during an online Malaysia Hindu Sangam Exco Meeting held on 16 April 2020, I regret to inform that the 43rd Thirumurai Recital Vizha at Local Council, State and National levels for this year (2020) are hereby postponed to next year (2021).

The above decision is made based on the extended Movement Control Order (MCO) until 28 April 2020 and we are still not sure of any further extension beyond that date. In view of this situation, great consideration and thought was also given to the limited time we have to prepare and organise the Thirumurai Recital Vizhas.

Therefore, the 43rd Thirumurai Recital Vizha Guide Book and CD which was produced this year will be used for next year’s Vizha.

Note: The Malaysia Hindu Sangam Central Committee Meeting is not able to be conducted due to the MCO. Therefore, the above decision was made during the online Malaysia Hindu Sangam Exco Meeting which was held on 16 April 2020.
