Let’s unite to celebrate the 62nd Independence Day. We, Malaysians, have always been one in heart despite our difference. We celebrate our diversity and are ever proud to say, “We are all Anak Malaysia”. We truly believe in and cherish our national unity.
The Hindu heritage teaches us how to co-exist harmoniously. Instead of looking for differences, let us look for similarities and the unity in diversity. As the great Hindu saint-philosopher said
“On this basis – being right and doing right –
the whole world can unite.”
Let us bring our hands in prayer to the Almighty that we as a nation share and stand united in weal and woe.
