INTRODUCTION

MHS THAIPUSAM TASK FORCE was started in 2013 by Malaysia Hindu Sangam. MHS TTF consist of three main core values of Engagement, Awareness and Enforcement. The objective is to reduce crime, irrespective activities and create peaceful gathering during Thaipusam Festival.

Among major responsibility is to create awareness among public and school. Significant changes were seen throughout the nation in observing the Thaipusam as a religious festival.

MHS TTF  also doing spot monitoring at the Murugan temples. In this, several other organisations and government agencies also played a key role. Throughout the 3 days Thaipusam celebration, the Task Force team monitored and worked together with other enforcement agencies to control malpractices and improper activities during Thaipusam.

All Hindu Youths are encouraged to become TTF volunteer.
