The team from the Malaysia Hindu Sangam Penang State Council today paid a courtesy visit to Ms.M.Thurkah Thevi (Director, Road Safety Department Penang State). The team comprised its Deputy Chairman Thondarmani G.Munisaran, Vice Chairman Viveka Nayagan A.Tharman, Women Leader Thondarmani P.Saroja, Youth Leader M.Sivaguru and committee members of State Education, Welfare & Youth Bureau.
On behalf of the council, Thondarmani P.Saroja garlanded Ms.M.Thurkah Thevi Thondarmani G.Munisaran briefed Ms.M.Thurkah on the introduction and founding of the Malaysia Hindu Sangam Penang State Council, highlighted its objectives, goals, mission vision and role.
The 1 hour discussion touched propose programme such Tamil school awarness campaign, festival season road safety roadshow and colleges road safety engagement. Ms.M.Thurkah Thevi thanked the MHS for their visit and said she welcome the ideas & would like to work for betterment of our community.
