Dear Hindu Sangam Management,
I write to express my sincere appreciation for the substantial improvements made in your recently redesigned website. The new platform is not only visually appealing but also highly functional, providing the community with easier access to important information and services. This reflects your commitment to transparency, modernization, and better engagement with the Hindu community.
I would also like to commend the Hindu Temple Steering Committee for its proactive initiative in circulating the survey form aimed at identifying and registering unregistered temples. This is indeed a significant and timely effort that will contribute towards better coordination, inclusivity, and recognition of temples within the broader community framework.
As we move forward, I would like to respectfully propose the next important step. It would be highly beneficial for Hindu Sangam to conduct a follow-up survey specifically targeting registered temples, focusing on their Accounting and Audit Readiness. Many registered temples are currently facing cash flow challenges and may lack structured financial management practices. A well-designed survey in this area would enable Hindu Sangam to:
* Assess the current state of financial record-keeping and audit preparedness
* Identify temples experiencing financial strain or cash flow issues
* Provide targeted guidance, training, or support where needed
* Promote greater accountability and transparency across temple management
Such an initiative will not only strengthen governance but also help build greater trust within the Hindu community. It is important to acknowledge that a segment of the community remains skeptical about temple management practices. By taking a structured and transparent approach to financial oversight, Hindu Sangam can play a pivotal role in addressing these concerns and enhancing public confidence.
I strongly encourage the Management to consider implementing this next phase at the earliest opportunity. It will be a meaningful step towards ensuring sustainability, accountability, and continued growth of our temples. I have sent a separate email Draft Letter to temple Management Committee and enclosed the Checklist for Hindu temple Accounting and Audit
Thank you once again for your dedication and leadership in serving the community.
Yours sincerely,
Dr Appadu Rao
