Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong had an in-depth discussion with The Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism (MCCBCHST).
He mentioned that together, we delved into crucial issues, including the Constitution, the proposed amendments to the Shariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 (Act 355) and citizenship matters.
It was a fruitful exchange of ideas aimed at ensuring that the rights and interests of all Malaysians are upheld.
He is committed to fostering dialogue and understanding among diverse religious communities, as we strive for a harmonious and inclusive society.
He also thanked MCCBCHST for the insightful meeting. Let’s continue working together towards a moderate Malaysia that upholds the Constitution.
